A good teacher must have some qualities. Some of such are as under -

- ICT Knowledge

- Show Empathy
Deeper Knowledge: This is the first and foremost quality of a good teacher. If you do not have deeper knowledge on your subject matter then you will be categorized as a bad teacher. You must have the capability to fulfill the students need in terms of content knowledge.
Teaching Skill : It is the second quality of a good teacher. Teaching skills implies using the skills like introducing a lesson, fluency in questioning, stimulus variation, explaining, reinforcing, using blackboard, demonstration etc. while transacting a particular lesson or content knowledge in the classroom. A good teacher is a skilled teacher. Students in the classroom understand easily when a skilled teacher take their classes.
ICT Knowledge:From the 21st century view point a good teacher must be compatible in using ICT tools and techniques in teachings. The use of ICT tools and techniques increases students' interest and motivation towards learning. If you want to be a good teacher, and you hardly have knowledge in using ICT in teaching, then you cannot.
Encouraging: A good teacher encourages his students. Those who discourage students, can never be a good teacher. Students hope encouraging advice from their teachers. When a teacher encourage them they get an extra motivation that make them happy. So, as a teacher we should encourage students while situation demands.
Show Empathy : Empathy means experiencing sufferings standing oneself in the sufferers place. Students may have problems related to hearing, reading, writing, orthopedic, autism spectrum disorder, etc. So, a good teacher have a responsibility to identify them and take initiative for individualized teaching and evaluation.
