Likewise we teachers must accumulate our most essential tools for our case. We teachers shape, reshape and transform our children into human resources.

Likewise we teachers must accumulate our most essential tools for our case. We teachers shape, reshape and transform our children into human resources. In this connection, we have to be armed with those most essential tools/gadgets or whatever it may call, for the smooth running of our duty. Irrespective of our discipline, subject, and level of teaching, we should have following ones –
A BOOKSHELF: It is very unfair to hear that you are a teacher but you don’t have a bookshelf. A bookshelf indicates that you are a studious person. That means you are responsible for your students as well as your profession. Your bookshelf give you an identity that you are not a common man. You are teacher who build a society, a nation too.
A LAPTOP: As a new age teacher, we must own a latest generation laptop. Use of ICT in education has been increasing day by day. Programs like MS Power Point, MS Excel, MS Word, etc. have become very much important for preparing and transacting lessons in a interesting and motivating way. With the help a internet connected laptop we can easily come across vast traffic of information in various formats like pdf, video, image, poster, etc. whatever we search for.
MOBILE PHONE: Like laptop, an android/apple mobile phone is also a must for the teachers. In reality, a good quality mobile phone is more important than that of a laptop. This is because we carry it, each and every moment, with us. It is also feasible for instant use such as for e-mailing, giving assignment to the students, conference call, chatting and so on. Mobile phone compatible Applications like Google Drive, Google Classroom, Google Meet, YouTube, DIKSHA, SWAYAM, WhatsApp along with various other applications have made this ICT device compulsory for the teachers.
AN ATLAS/GLOBE: Every teacher should have a minimum knowledge of geo-political, demographic, socio-economic, cultural and historical features of their locality as well as of the country. So, each and every teacher must own a quality Atlas or a Globe or the both.
A DAILY NEWSPAPER: A daily newspaper is a must for every teacher. It may be regional or national. It may also be either digital or printed one. Articles written by the intellectuals give us new outlook in various issues. Time has been changing day by day. So, in order to cope with the changing time we must have to make ourselves up to date. In this connection a daily newspaper is undeniably very helpful.
